Who this covers
This policy explains what Plaza Salon collects, why we collect it, and what happens to it. It covers two groups: people who visit plaza-salon.com, book an appointment or contact us, and members of the Plaza Salon team who use the stylist app to submit photos of their work.
If you are a client
Appointments are booked through Meevo, our salon booking system. What you enter there goes to Meevo and to Plaza Salon. If you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, the contact details you give us, and whatever you write. We use that only to reply to you. This website does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third party tracking. We do not follow you around other websites, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
If you are on the Plaza Salon team
The stylist app asks you to sign in with your Google account. When you do, we receive your name, your email address, and the account identifier Google uses for you. We never see your Google password, and we cannot read your Gmail, contacts, calendar, photos or files. When you submit work, we store the photos or video you upload and whatever you type about the service, along with which stylist submitted it and when.
Why we collect it
So the salon knows whose work it is and can credit you properly, and so approved photos can be published to the Plaza Salon social media accounts. Nothing you submit is published automatically. The salon reviews and approves every post before it goes out.
Who else sees it
Captain Obvious Web Development builds and runs this website and the stylist app for Plaza Salon, and handles this information on behalf of the salon. Google handles the sign in step. When the salon publishes a post, the photo and caption are sent to that social platform, currently Instagram and Facebook, and from that point they are governed by the terms of that platform. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else to advertise to you.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in to the parts of the site that require signing in, such as the salon admin and the stylist app. We do not use cookies to track you or to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Photos you submit, and the details attached to them, are kept while they are useful to the salon marketing, and are removed on request. Your sign in stays active until you sign out, until the salon removes your access, or until you leave the team.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for photos of your work to be taken down, or ask for your access to be removed. You can also remove access for this app from your own Google account settings at any time, which signs you out immediately. To make any of these requests, contact the salon using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date shown at the top.
